Tomáš Pindór

Tomáš Pindór was born in Český Těšín, where his musical journey began with the piano. He then studied organ at the Folk Conservatory with Aleš Rybka and continued at the Janáček Conservatory in Ostrava under the guidance of Pavel Rybka. Tomáš has participated in important organ courses both in the Czech Republic and abroad, where he studied with renowned teachers such as Martin Sander, Jaroslav Tůma, Frédéric Blanc, Carolyn Shuster-Fournier, and Kimberly Marshall, while also focusing on improvisation under the guidance of Wolfgang Seifen. He is a laureate of the organ competition in Most.
Tomáš performs throughout the Czech Republic and abroad, for example in Poland, Switzerland, Slovakia, Germany, France, Cuba, and Russia. For more than ten years, he served as organist and choirmaster at the Church of the Sacred Heart of Jesus in Český Těšín, where he regularly organized concerts and was artistic director of the Organ Festival in Český Těšín and Cieszyn, Poland.
He also focused on choral conducting, which he studied at the Faculty of Education in Prague under the guidance of Marek Valášek and Jaroslav Brycha. He also worked as choirmaster at the Church of St. Ignatius of Loyola in Prague, where he founded the Ignis church choir and continues to guest conduct and play the organ.
He currently works as a ballet accompanist at the National Theater in Prague and as a music teacher at the Prague Dance Conservatory. He is also studying organ at the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague under Prof. Jaroslav Tůma. In addition to his concert activities, he devotes himself to composition and organ improvisation. Tomáš regularly collaborates with leading Czech orchestras, including the FOK and PKF – Prague Philharmonia, with whom he also records CDs.
